Get in Touch First

Before posting, call us on 01992 276 092 or email hello@techrevivehertfordshire.co.uk to describe the fault. We'll confirm we can fix it and give you a likely price range. This saves you posting a console we can't help with.

Package Your PS5 Securely

Use the original PS5 box if you have it, or a double-walled cardboard box. Wrap the console in bubble wrap on all sides. Do NOT include controllers, cables, or games — just the console (or just the controller if it's a controller repair). We're not liable for accessories sent unnecessarily.

Send It Tracked and Insured

Use Royal Mail Special Delivery or a courier service that provides tracking and £200+ insurance. Keep your proof of postage. Address it to: Tech Revive Hertfordshire, 64 Crossbrook Street, Cheshunt, EN8 8JQ.

We Diagnose and Repair

We'll contact you when it arrives, confirm the fault and final price before doing any work. Most PS5 postal repairs are completed within 1–2 working days of arrival. We'll never do work without your approval.

We Return It to You

We return your PS5 via Royal Mail Special Delivery (tracked, signed for, insured) — return postage is included in our repair price. You'll receive a tracking number by email.

We'll always call or email with a diagnosis before starting any work. If we can't fix it, or if the repair cost is more than you want to spend, we'll return it to you — you only pay return postage (£8.50).

How to Pack Your PS5 Safely

Packing your console correctly is the most important thing you can do to make sure it arrives undamaged. It only takes a few minutes.

Step-by-step packaging instructions

Follow these steps and your PS5 will be safe in transit. The original Sony box is ideal — use it if you have it.

Use the original Sony box if available — it's designed for this purpose and gives the best protection.

If not: use a double-walled cardboard box at least 5cm larger than the console on each side.

Wrap the console in at least 4–5 layers of bubble wrap on all sides, corners and edges.

Fill all empty space with scrunched newspaper or foam peanuts — the console shouldn't move at all inside the box when you shake it.

Seal all seams with strong parcel tape and mark the box "FRAGILE" on multiple sides.

Do not send controllers, cables or games unless specifically agreed with us beforehand. Send only the console (or just the controller if it's a controller repair). We are not liable for accessories sent unnecessarily.

Prices start from £35 for controller repairs and from £45 for console repairs. The return shipping by Royal Mail Special Delivery is included in all repair prices. We'll confirm the exact price before starting any work.
Most repairs are completed within 1–2 working days of the console arriving with us. Add 1–2 days for postage each way, so allow approximately 5–7 working days total from when you post it to when you receive it back.
We strongly recommend sending via Royal Mail Special Delivery or an equivalent tracked and insured service. We cannot be held responsible for damage or loss that occurs during transit to us. We return all consoles via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes up to £750 insurance.
If we receive your console and find we're unable to repair the fault, or the repair would cost more than you're happy to spend, we'll call you immediately. We'll return it to you — you'll just need to cover the return postage cost of £8.50.
No — most PS5 hardware repairs don't require any access to your data or account. However, if you'd prefer peace of mind, you can back up your save data to PS Plus cloud storage and sign out of your PSN account before posting. We treat all consoles with care and confidentiality.
